Initial Thoughts

For Creative Research this year I want to focus on improving areas of my art I am not so confident in,or that I will need in industry (for example, I want to improve my digital painting as this is a skill vital for a digital artist). I am still unsure what areas of industry I am interested in working in as a professional and am hoping through the development of my skill, and exploration of techniques, I will stumble upon an angle I am interested in perusing as deciding what I want to do right off the bat is not something that is coming naturally to me. As well as developing my skill, I am also interested in getting more hands-on with my art. Through doing a more technical university course, I have lost the aspect of hands on art, preferring instead to do everything digitally. By doing this, there is an aspect of creating that I enjoyed that I no longer do, I want to bring this back into my working process.
